Q.  Are there any days that you do not schedule tours?

A.  No, V.I.P. TOURS operates 365 days a year.

Q.  Can we share the cost of a tour with another family?

A.  Yes, you can split the cost with another family.  There is a small surcharge for two families and you must decide which family will be making all the decisions as far as the tour itinerary goes.  Our guide can not be taking direction from both families.  One person in your group must be in charge.  If your group exceeds six people at Disney or five people at Universal, a second guide is required for $40.00 per hour at Disney and $40.00 per hour plus $30.00 per day at Universal.

Q.  How large a group can you take at one time?

A.  A guide can handle up to six people at one time at Disney and five at Universal.  A surcharge may apply for larger groups and you get two guides.  If the group consists of two different families a small surcharge will apply.  There is no additional surcharge if  everyone in the group is from the same family.

Q.  Can you make our hotel or any other reservations for us?

A.  Yes and no.  Reservations for hotels, rental cars and airlines need a credit card to guarantee them.  If you trust us with your credit card information we can book your hotel and rental car and purchase park tickets for you.  We find however, that because families tastes and needs in accommodations and cars vary so greatly this is best left up to the family.  We will assist you in finding the best rates and make suggestions.

Q.  Do you eliminate all the lines at the parks?

A.  We shorten about 90% of the lines to less than 10 minutes.  Shows and similar attractions are scheduled and nothing can be done to make those waits any shorter.  What we end up with in those cases is only waiting till the start of the next show.  We also arrange your day so that there is a minimum impact on your time and in some cases we can get early entrance and reserved seating.  Many people see a really long line at a ride and skip it saying they will come back later.  Unfortunately, many times they never get back to those rides and miss something really great. Our average wait in line is about a five minutes for all rides.  We also have no control over ride malfunction which can make waits longer but we do rearrange the day in these cases so that the line will be more reasonable.

Q.  What happens if there is bad weather?

A.  Tours are not canceled for weather as long as the park is open.  In the event of a major storm and the park closes a full refund or a credit for the day will be issued.  This is your choice.   If the park is open, and due to weather you chose to cancel  the day can be rescheduled if a guide is available for the rescheduled day.  There is no refund if you cancel on the day of the tour.

Q.  What parks and attractions can you take us through?

A.  We specialize in Disney and Universal but we can do other attractions as well.  Sea World Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa are also available but the terms and pricing may differ.  Should you be interested in parks besides Disney and Universal contact us and we will explain the differences.

Q.  Do we get any discounts at the parks?

A.  Discounts vary by park.  At Disney, the guide can get 20% off most full service restaurants if he or she is with you for the meal.  At Universal, You would get 10 to 20% off everything purchased with the exception of the street vendors.  This includes admissions, food, and merchandise.  Again the guide must be with you to get the discounts.

Q.  Where should we purchase our tickets?

A.  Your guide can advise you on what tickets to purchase for your needs as well as when and where to purchase them to get the best deal and the most value for your money.  We can also purchase some tickets for you when paid for in advance.

Q.  What about transportation to the parks?

A.  Disney hotels have buses to the Disney parks from their hotels.  Most hotels off Disney property have shuttle service to all the parks.  There are also taxis available at all the hotels.  Keep in mind that your tour starts at the meeting time that you specify whether you meet at the park or the hotel.

Q.  What is your refund policy?

A.  Our refund and cancellation policy is simple.  A full refund is given if you should cancel 30 days or more prior to your tour date.  Less than 30 days but more than  48 hours prior to your tour, a 50% refund is given.  There is no refund if you cancel less than forty-eight hours prior to your tour.  In this event, a full credit will be issued for use at a future time.  There is no refund or credit if you cancel on the day of the tour.  Refunds for tours paid for by credit card are subject to a 7% transaction fee.  All refunds are mailed to you by check or credited to the credit card used within seven days after cancellation.
