I had the pleasure of touring the Gaylord Palms hotel in Kissimmee Florida on December 16th 2008 and found it to be a very unique experience. I had long ago written off this hotel to be just another over priced hotel even though I had never been in it. I was amazed to find that this may be one of the nicest hotels in the area. It's location is just minutes from Disney (about two) and is about 30 seconds from interstate 4. They have rooms that can accommodate just about any size family as well as shops and restaurants for everyone's taste and budget. All rooms are well appointed and come with a computer and the entire resort has Wi-Fi. There are beautiful gardens and recreation areas as well as luxury appointments usually found at the worlds best hotels like fully equipped fitness centers and even a spa. VIP TOURS highly recommends this hotel as a very attractive alternative to staying at the other high end hotels in the area. It's quiet, convenient and very well appointed. I have seen many of the hotels in this area and this would be my choice if I were traveling here.
